Urinal Descaler is a blend of organic acids which is safe to use and will unblock pipework which suffers from scale and uric acid build-up. A far safer alternative than the traditional high-strength acids such as Sulphuric, Urinal Descaler will not fume making it far more pleasant to use, it can also be used with all metals commonly found in and around urinals.
Urinal Descaler is a concentrated product and a single litre will deal with approximately 1 kg of uric acid/limescale so the amount you need will depend on the severity of the build-up in the pipework. Most systems should be completely cleared within 2 hours of application.
INSTRUCTIONS
Blockages – It’s important that you are able to block up the outflow pipe from the urinals.
Once blocked, pour in the urinal descaler until the fluid shows in the urinal
Leave to do it’s work for up to 2 hours and see for yourself!
Maintenance – Use regularly to prevent build-ups of scale. Dilute 1:1 with water and pour down the top urinal (once a week for high traffic areas, once a month for lower use).
